Navigating the Qcells app (Q.OMMAND HOME)

The Qcells App (Q.OMMAND HOME) is designed to help homeowners easily monitor and manage their solar energy system. Whether you want to check how much power your panels are generating, track your energy usage, or ensure your battery is working correctly, this app makes it simple. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you navigate the home page and key features. The app is available on both App store (Apple) and Google Play Store (Android). Once downloaded, create an account and follow the on-screen instructions to connect your solar system.

Home Page When you first open the app you land on the home page, which gives you an overview of the solar system performance.

Real-Time energy flow animation. This visually represents where your electricity is coming from – whether it’s your solar panels, battery storage, or the grid. Below the animation is key metric such as:

Solar Power Generation – is how much electricity your solar panels are producing.

Home Energy Consumption – The amount of electricity your home is currently using.

Battery Status – Whether your battery is charging, discharging, or full.

Grid Usage – If your home is drawing power from or sending power back to the grid.

After this, you’ll see a section that provides your historical energy data. This lets you compare your daily, weekly, and monthly energy production and consumption, helping you track trends and understand when your home uses the most power.

Home Appliance Energy Monitoring is the option to check the electricity consumption of specific home appliances if your solar system is equipped with smart energy monitoring. The feature helps identify which devices use the most energy so you can adjust usage habit and lower energy bills. You must add appliances manually.

Clean Energy Score is the section on ‘Energy Insights’ that gives detailed reports on your energy consumption, solar production, and grid usage over time. The feature displays how much electricity comes from renewable sources and makes suggestions for energy improving efficiency.

Family Sharing Feature allows you to add multiple users, so others in the household can check and adjust system preferences. To add users, simple invite them through the app settings and entering their email.
